2. Tickets: register now, choose the show later

Start on the official Eurovision ticket page. Create a free Eurofan account, open the account page and toggle interest in Burgas 2027 tickets. The organiser says only Eurofan account holders will be able to buy tickets. Registering for updates is not itself a ticket, a seat reservation or a guarantee of success in the sale.

4. Flights, airport transfers and onward travel

Burgas Airport is about ten kilometres north-east of the centre, according to the official host-city guide. The airport identifies bus 15 for the city; BurgasBus lists its path through Transportna and the centre to Bus Station South. Check the live timetable, luggage policy and last departure for your landing time. A delayed late flight may make a prearranged licensed taxi simpler than a complicated connection.

The EBU is developing a wider arrival concept involving Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv and Istanbul. That is a statement of planning, not a published direct shuttle from each airport. Compare the total door-to-door journey: flight arrival, immigration, transfer to the rail or bus terminal, onward travel and final hotel check-in. If arriving via Sofia, confirm the train schedule directly with the rail operator before booking a tightly connected flight.

BurgasBus currently lists a €0.80 onboard single fare and a cheaper e-wallet transfer fare. Those are present-day reference prices, not a promise for May 2027. Bulgaria uses the euro, simplifying a group budget if most of you are travelling from the euro area. Keep a small allowance for transfers even if you expect to walk.

5. Getting to Arena Burgas on show night

The arena is confirmed; the spectator approach is not. Eurovision says final journey times, dedicated transport, accessible services and venue entrances will follow the operational plan. Do not publish or follow an invented “Eurovision shuttle” stop. Once your ticket and event email arrive, use the entrance and security instructions attached to your particular show, then pin that entrance rather than the centre of the arena building.

For any late performance, make the return trip part of the hotel choice. Ask whether everyone can walk together, whether the announced bus operates after the broadcast and where a licensed taxi can legally pick up. Build a meeting point outside the busiest exit; mobile coverage and rideshare pickup may be strained after a live television event. Leave extra time before entry for security and bag checks once official rules are released.

6. A five-night Eurovision week itinerary

Eurovision Village and EuroClub locations, entry rules and costs have not yet been published. Leave optional blocks for them rather than sending your group to an assumed venue. The official city guide already identifies the Sea Garden, the pier and central waterfront as good independent activities, so the trip still has substance beyond the shows.

7. What should you budget?

Here is a planning allowance per person for five nights, assuming two people share one room. It is deliberately not presented as a live May 2027 quote. Flights and show tickets are separate because origin and ticket category are not known. Ask each traveller for a ceiling before anyone puts down a deposit.

Add an origin-specific flight quote with luggage and ground transfers, then compare your full per-person figure with the group's cap. A shorter semi-final trip will change both hotel and food totals.

• Choose the show priority and ticket fallback together, including whether a preview show works.
• Hold accommodation with terms you can actually cancel after the ticket sale; save the deadline.
