🚉 Piccadilly: easiest transport base

Metrolink’s Etihad Campus stop is beside the stadium. Manchester City lists about 10–15 minutes from the centre, with frequent services and Zone 2 fares. Contactless is convenient, but every traveler should tap separately with the same payment method at the start and end.
🚶 The post-show plan
Do not promise a 15-minute return immediately after the encore. Eleven major concerts mean managed queues. Pick a visible regroup point away from exits, keep the hotel address offline and allow the first surge to clear. Walking to Ancoats or Piccadilly can be an option only if the official event plan permits it and the whole group is comfortable.
